Having seen how other news agencies have treated the Tea Parties of yesterday by referring to them in sexual terminology of "teabagging" I am truly insulted. Had these been protests been by gays and lesbians, the sexual remarks would have been put aside and the reports would have been done with the utmost respect and dignity. Both CNN and MSNBC did disservice to the gatherings in this manor with their anchors acting like college age "frat-boys" (sorry I don't mean to offend the good frat-boys out there). They obviously didn't see that these parties cut across party lines and had both democrats and republicans in attendance.
I hope the "grown-ups" (if there are any) will take over those stations and turn them back into SERIOUS journalisim outlets. They are a disgrace to journalists everywhere. Can you imagine Walter Cronkite or even Dan Rather (no matter how bad he was as an anchor) making remarks like that?
How would it be if FoxNews made sexual references to "Anderson 360" as a sex-act called "sit-and-spin"?
