My whole life I have been a true-believer Republican. I was (and still am) a Reagan admirer. But now we have been sold out by the Republican party and as Michael Savage says they have become Republicrats. We don't have a 2 party system any more in this country. To me its either left or more left and so now may be the time for the rise of the Libertarian Party. In past years this group was often called "Losertarians" as they had no hope to win. But even I am considering changing my allegiance even though there are parts of the Libertarian party I do not like such as: not pro-life and being for the legalization of drugs. At least they STAND for something.
Unless I see some significant change in direction from a party I have long supported I see no other choice. I believe our country is looking for a party that STANDS for something. By pandering to the left we debase ourselves and make ourselves look weaker and not stronger. We need a party that will STAND up against the Politically-Correct crowd and speak plainly and honestly (and screw what the wimps in Hollywood think). That was how Reagan came to power and he was admired for it.
I want to see a party that STANDS FOR:
- Stopping Illegal Immigration at the borders and in the corporations
- Making English the national language.
- Stops trying to control the economy (and screwing it up)
- A FAIR tax system (one that even Timothy Geithner can understand)
- A government that provides a strong military to protect us.... AND THAT"S ALL
